P1SC and D1SC Differences??
P1SC and D1SC Differences??
Besides the D1SC coming w/ a 3-Core intercooler, how is it different than the P1SC for a TPI Camaro or Firebird. Doesn't the D1 put out more boost? Does anyone have the specs on these two? Like how much boost they each put out and anything else that is different? Thanks
I just bought the D1Sc myself.
I was considering the P1SC and did a lot of looking into on the subject. The maximum output on both appear to be close, but the units are quite different. At 9 psi. of boost the P1SC will add aprox. 110 hp., where the D1SC will add aprox. 150 hp.. I spoke to multiple ATI distributors to make sure nobody was feeding me a line of crap, and they all gave me the same info. They also told me that they would not recommend running the P1SC above 15 psi., and the D1SC above 25 psi. Also, the D1SC will begin to produce its power at a lower RPM compared to the P1SC at the same rated boost level. Combined with getting a bigger and better intercooler, I choose to spend the extra $400 and got the D1SC kit.

He isn't really a dealer, but he has put on quite a few. He is a very nice guy and runs a great shop.
