exactly how do i post a picture in my profile whatchacallit spot, under the post where you type mods and stuff?

It's part of your sig.
First you have to upload a pic to a site that allows direct image linking, like the reader's rides section of this site.
Then copy and paste its url.
Go to User CP section at top of screen, go to edit profile.
Scroll down and there will be a sig section.
type in [ img ] url here [ /img ] WITH NO SPACES , I had to put spaces for display purposes.
