Why not use pages??It would seem more simple, and organized. Also it would save the frustration of scrolling down through tons of posts...

I'm not sure if I'm understanding what you're talking about, but there is a way to show posts from the last 'x' amount of days. I think it can be changed in your User CP.

There is also a pull down menu in your USER CP that will allow you to display a certain amount of posts on a page of a thread. Just go to the EDIT OPTIONS in your USER CP and then scroll down and change your DEFAULT POSTS PER THREAD to whatever you would like. The forum default is 75 posts per thread page.
