how do you use a .gif for an avatar

i tried several times and only one frame appears.

If you don't have an editor that will resize all the frames correctly, you can try this online gif editor. If your gif is too big for the site below to handle (they only accept a certain size), then maybe post your image and I'm sure someone (or myself) will resize it.
