Better mods

Well at some point we finally got you to add another mod to the V6 section "ede" and of course ede is a lock happy mod but at least he did his job. We got ede cause everyone was tired of our mods doing nothing but then you took ede away and now the V6 section is back into craps vile with two mod that never do anything.

I have not see CC_HotRod even post a message in over a year and Ovrclck350 is not a fan of the V6 either.

Get some active V6 owners to mod the section. People who like the V6 and will do their job.

Its no BS but TomP should be our V6 mod. He is the most informative person in the whole section and as been a icon of knowledge for years. Neither of our two mod show up let alone have anything worth while to add.

A mod should be interested in the section and be part of the group. not just some status symbol to blow air up their skirt.

90% of this board does not like the V6 , we know this all to well.
We are shuned into the tiny section we get which is obviously cause TGO doesn't care much about the V6 either, but we do.

Them poor 4 cly iron duke owners don't even get a mention.

I hereby propose a name change of the V6 board from "V6" to "V6 and V4 General Tech" This name change would of course address all issues presented within your post and make the Iron Duke owners once again feel welcome, especially the ones who pulled their iron duke and dropped it into their circle track cart.

I wouldn't call ede lock happy, but a Mod that follows the rules exactly as they are written. When the Fabrication Board was made he had more of an interest in being a Mod over there and I didn't want him to have too many boards to keep a watch over which could have had made him ineffective, which he is not/never has been, so we switched him. We'll see what happens.

Yes, but sometimes you have a person like this that does not want to be a Mod and that is the case here. Even though everyone and myself would like him to be.

only reason i took the v6 board was becasue there was a need or someone ask me, i don't really remember the details now. i got next to zero enjoyment out of it for a lot of the reasons gumby stated. when the fabrication board came up i really wanted to have it. that would of made me 5 boards and considering the time i spend on here, at work and home it would of got to be a bit much. i don't think you can find a thread i locked, moved, or delted that was in compliance with the rules.

i don't have much knowledge of the 60* v6 but have a 4.3 in my car so i'm a v6 owner but not much i know about v6 applies to thirdgen f bodys. that isa big reason i got so little out of the v6 board.

I second the vote for TOMP, great guy with a ton of knowledge.

We want Tom, we want Tom, but does tom want the job?
