I am trying to upload a picture of my car in the readers rides section, and I get this message:

"One or more of the images you are attempting to upload contain illegal characters in the name. The character " " is illegal!"

Now, help me out with this, the " " is not in the url that I'm trying to use. What "name" is being refered too?

I would really like to put some pictures in this section, but can't!

I really laugh, when I see a moderater lock a thread, and say to use the readers rides section! I just wonder how many others have had a similar problem.

Please remember, that I will need to be walked through this if it gets to deep, I'm no "computer geek", so some understanding, will go a long way with me!

Is there a space in the file name? I think that's what its referring to, but I'm not certain.

Metalli is right about the " " error message referring to a blank space in the filename, as i know you already figured out.

But just to add, looking at their script, it appears anything outside of the normal a-z and 0-9 in the filename is considered an "illegal" character in the filename and won't upload. Of course there are other things that will prevent the file from being accepted, such as an extra period in the filename. Just for future info
