5 Minute edit - Pfooey

Now there is a time limit on editing our posts - Darn!

Sometimes it takes me more than 5 minutes to edit a post correctly when I find a mistake - Or to add more information to the post.

So why the 5 minute limit - Why not ten minutes, or??

Some of us would like to get the spellingf correct, along with the grammaw.

Well???

Any way, thanks for having a place to post at any time limit...

It is currently being reviewed. I'm not the one who made the change, but I can understand the logic on both sides. Some need time, have after thoughts, etc., and on the other hand, there really is little reason to need to edit a post days later.

Thanks.

There was once when I posted the web site. and phone numbers to a manufacturer so all could get ahold of them. There was a little concern that all did not need to know of this place, and finally a few convinced me to edit out the numbers a few days later, which I did, and understood their thinking at the time.

There are allot of different circumstances out there - But who knows maybe we can't meet all conditions???

Again, Thanks, ED.

A good example. However, you could always PM or email the moderator of that forum, or an Admin, and we can take care of such special issues.
