Thirdgen.org CD/DVD for offline searching
I've been wanting to put out the idea of a Thirdgen.org CD/DVD that would allow users to search the database offline. I don't know about everyone else but when the site is down or if it would ever go away I would be quite sad to lose access to all the valuable information contained here. I would go nuts. If there were a way to search everything offline it would be great. Maybe sell a CD/DVD or have a membership where you can download updates every so often.
Just wanted to put this out there and hear what others think about it.

I am not keen, on someone selling a CD, and making money off of the information posted, and provided by other users. I am all for company's making money by delivering a product. I just do now want their product to be information that I provided them for free.
