I guess suggestion from the members is just a complete waist of time. The google ads used to be car related in general. But now there is a freakin ad for an Indian job seach! WTF? Completely retarded. I SERIOUSLY doubt there are any 3rd gen owners in India. I guess to hell with the members who helped make this site what it is today. Its all about the $$ now. Use the top banner to ***** the site out for profit and leave out half of the 3rd gen culture.....makes absolutly no sence to me. I guess its time to move on and find another 3rd gen board that is actually for the members and not for the dollars. Good day.

I do not see any place were suggestions are not being taken. If that was the case, the thread referenced above would not exist.

 

I missed that thread. Im just dissapointed in the fact that the google ad has taken over 75% of the banner. It looks horrable. I hope something happens to work the firebird into the banner. If that banner was changed to include a firebird on the right side and maybe the TGO logo in the center I belive that it would please a large percentage of the people that arnt happy with the google ads. It doenst bother me so much that they are here now, but the fact that they have taken over the banner that was supposed to represent the page itself. If they were elsewhere on the page I wouldnt mind them staying.

Jeremy, how do you feel about the new top banner? They have completly eliminated the google ads as well as the india ads. I think that the site is great wether or not the ads at top are thirdgen related. Its not the ads that make or break the site it is its members and its admins.

 

I think they have done a great job. I just didnt like seeing the site cluttered up with non-third gen related material. I commend them for haveing Hawk's in the banner now sence a large precentage of the members on this site have or will buy from them in the future. Im glad to see they are putting the time and effort into this site that it really diserves.
