Calculations Error

I am referring to this:
https://www.thirdgen.org/calculations

I was trying to calculate my speed, basically to double check my speedo. It says Tire Radius, RPM, Rear End Gear, and Transmission Gear. So I enter:
Tire Radius: 8.75
RPM: 2300
Rear End Gear: 3.42
Transmission Gear: 1 (4th is direct in the T5, right?)

and get like 36 MPH. Basically, I was going 70, so something wasn't right. Just out of curiosity, I enter in my Tire Diameter, and get 70, so I think that Radius should read Diameter. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

did you measure wheel+tire radius or just the wheel? because my wheel radius (center of the wheel to the ground) is about 13"

I guess I figured that with rim and tire (15" rims) it was 17.5, but that might be a bit to little, now that I look at it. Ill recalculate when I break out the tape measure.
