Mind if I ask the goal? Is it to follow-up on threads you've posted in? If so, that is sort of the purpose of the Subscriptions.

 

I usually come here before I check my E-mail and its less hassle than going through the runaround of the Emails

 

You can use the subscription without the email notification. All subscriptions are listed here:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/usercp.php

If any of the threads that you subscribed to have been renewed, you will see the link to the thread under the "New Subscribed Threads" section in the link I provided above. If you see nothing, than none of the threads you subscribed to have new posts, or you don't have any subscriptions.
