how can someone become a moderator???

 

Moderators are selected as needed - such as an existing moderator stepping down or if we determine that an additional moderator is needed. When that happens, we often look to the feedback from our current staff to find someone that may be best qualified. Being helpful, friendly and following the rules are large parts that are considered when we review a member as a possible moderator. There's obviously more to it, but that is a starting point.

If you have a forum in mind that you think needs some additional help, please PM me and give a brief reason why you would like to become a moderator. If there is a need, I will work and discuss it with the rest of our staff. I do have to say we do prefer members that have been around for some time, but I wouldn't go strictly on any date.
