Why no "off topic" forum

Just a place for the members to BS, when they're not talking cars?

Re: Why no "off topic" forum

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/prob...-non-tech.html

This site has had it before, it did not work and had to be taken away. It's also not what TGO is for or about. So we ask that you don't request it because it's not happening again. This is a focused Third Gen (82-92) Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird Tech site.
Please make sure to read all stickies and announcements as they often contain important, and frequently asked, questions.

In short, it did not work out and it brought the site to a temporary close. There hasn't been one for years.

We are not 100% ruling out the possibility of one *something* like it in the future, but if so, will likely be strict topics (health/fitness, etc.) as "anything-goes" leads to problems between members and moderation and was shown to not work well here when there was one.
