I was going to leave positive feed back for a guy that bought something from me. But I can't do it because I don't have a deal thread. They thing iss there never was a deal thread. He posted in a forum asking about a part. So I pm'ed him saying I had one and I sold it trough pm's. So how can I leave feed back for him. I want people to know he is a stand up guy. And I don't like putting anything this simple in the feedback section. I just want to know why I can't do this in the Itrader setup.Adam :-)

It is setup this way to minimize false ratings. Users on eBay can't use the eBay feedback form to rate each other unless the two involved were Buyer and Seller and they completed an auction through eBay. Basically same thing.

I know it is set up to stop people making false feedback reports. And that's GREAT so people have a true idea of how a person operates. But there should be a way to make this work. I mean I could post that link. But I never posted in it. So you would never know I even talked to him about selling him something.

 

Yes, there is a way to make it work and I've done it many times for users, such as yourself, that contact us to let us know of a "special" case. However, in order to make it work, I need the proper details (user name of both parties and a thread that triggered this). When I have that information, I can (and do) make it work.

Was user chazman the other party and factory Camaro plate the part?

 

AH. OK. Did not know that. This is good to know. And yes he was the other party and the plate was the item.
