explain album choices.(Please)
Hello all. I was curious if someone could clear up some confusion I've got on this site. There are multiple areas where pictures can be viewed and I was wondering the difference between these different options.
1st- there's a place to put your pictures on our profile page, which I'm assuming can be viewed publicly.
2nd-there's a photo gallery, that is also public.
3rd- There's also the "garage" which also is public.
The reason I'm asking, is I've been having problems getting my photos to upload in not only my album section, but the garage.I'm being helped by the webmaster ,but was curious if someone could explain the individual differences of each area. Thanx for your effort. Joe

You don't have one set. You change it under Edit Profile Picture in your UserCP: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/usercp.php
Photo Albums or Photo Galleries are as named. They are a place that members can upload, and organize, several pictures. You can have multiple albums and have multiple pictures in them.
You have two of them with multiple pictures in each one:

That's a 3rd party software we added, years ago, in attempt to replace our old Reader Rides. It's simply a place where members can upload pictures of their car and have it linked within their postbit through the following icon:

I see recent uploads to all sections (albums, garage, profile pictures) and so that indicates there's no global issue. I would suspect you're simply uploading photos that are too large for the system and getting an general error. The allowed file sizes differ across the different features but they're all noted in the upload manager (where you're selecting and attempting to upload).
