Before the latest site update, there were two search bars on the front page. The one in the top bar that used the built in forum search functions, and the one in the main content area, which was a Google search bar. he Google search usually yielded better results (and as a bonus, it puts no strain on the forum's server.)

As of this update, it is gone.

In the meantime, I can still search via google's website using site:thirdgen.org to start the search query, but it would be nice to have that put back if possible.
