Links to other than thirdgen sites disallowed
Please advise why thirdgen.org is preventing navigation to posted links that are not a thirdgen link. This is extremely frustrating and totally invalidates the purpose of threads. Specifically, look at this post:# 2 here: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/diy-...ml#post6316695.
That post includes a valid link (http://support.moates.net/fake-27sf512-chips/) which I copied from that post to here. It works if click on it here but not in the original post. Why? Try it in the original post and you will get "Navigation cancelled". NOT GOOD! I've experienced this elsewhere on thirdgenas well and it needs to be fixed, please.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Links to other than thirdgen sites disallowed
This is not an issue with ThirdGen.org. The links you posted work correctly across all 3 major browsers (Chrome, IE and Firefox).
"Navigation to the webpage was canceled" is an IE message appearing due to IE policies that are enabled. Please review Microsoft's Help/Support for making changes. Otherwise, you can try a different browser.
If by some chance this is occurring on another browser, it's likely a 3rd party extension that is interfering with the execution of the link. We have no control over 3rd party software and we cannot support 3rd party software that alters the appearance and/or functionality of a site.
I'd think you'd agree that no healthy site would prevent external links from working. We're certainly not doing so.
