Correct area to ask about buying advice?

Unless I’ve over looked it, is there an area to ask on buying advice, estimated car worth, red flags when looking over car?

Depends on the car condition.

If you're looking for a collector condition car and want to know what may or may not be correct with the car, what type of value and rarity the car has, then the History/Originality section is best. The guys who know ThirdGen originality frequent that section.

For other basic questions, such as mechanical stuff, you could try the General Tech section if it's just a daily driver car.

Be prepared to post pictures to get the best answer regarding value. Even then, the values might have a range as pictures don't tell everything. The car is worth what you feel it's worth.
