[MA] 1991 FBI B4C Very Low Miles
1991 FBI B4C Very Low Miles
HI; I'm just putting some feelers out there if anyone is interested in purchasing a fully documented FBI B4C car with under 13,000 miles. The car is in nearly perfect condition, and I am thinking of moving on to make space for another corvette in my garage. I can supply any details or pictures as needed. I am the only titled owner in the history of the vehicle and I still have the original Authorization for title issued by the FBI. As per the posting rules, asking price is $100,000 or a more realistic number as negotiated.

Post up a few pix, fill out your location and give us a idea on a starting price.

I'd rather keep the pictures off the post to maintain confidentiality. I will gladly send pictures privately and discuss pricing. I am in Massachusetts. Also available to show the car privately to serious parties

How about a VIN?
Re: 1991 FBI B4C Very Low Miles
All you have to do is private message me. I'll be glad to tell you anything you like about the car. I have bought and sold lots of cars and many of the people that I have dealt with prefer to keep the deals confidential. Sorry some of you guys don't understand that, but that's just me. If you are nearby Massachusetts and you would like to see it personally, your are welcome. Just bring cash and Western Union or Paypal not accepted!!!

What I can say that if it is a 1991 B4C car then it more than likely has the 1LE brakes. It is a late model year car... They only made about 100800 or so 1991 Camaros, and this one appears to be 96,000

It's not a 1LE car. It is a 5.7 Automatic. The FBI had it built with a Yukon rear end, and frame extenders. It was a Tevoc car used for training. I have plenty of documentation for the vehicle.

Re: 1991 FBI B4C Very Low Miles
Even a 5.7 auto should have 1LE if its a B4C.
John, Is there anything that could drop just the 1LE brakes or wasn't it part of B4C? Was the 1991 rear caliper shortage a factor? I thought B4C and 1LE cars got 1st dibs on those? Built after the shortage issue?
Yukon rearend, never heard of or seen such b4. Was it rebuilt with parts from the company Yukon?.
Do you mean subframe connectors?

May have Misspoken about the differential. Looks like the axle setup and not the differential is Yukon. Appears original to the car. Perhaps the FBI installed prior to placing in service, or spec'd for GM. Can't say, don't know. As far as what I call frame extenders, they basically look like angle Iron welded at 90 degrees to the frame extending to the rocker panels. Looks like they are intended for added side impact protection. RPO Brake code is J65. Definitely not 1LE

So it has small front rotors with iron calipers? that's different for sure with a B4C.

Not all of the 91 B4C cars got the 1LE brakes in fact very few. The 92 ones did, but the 91's were low numbers and all at the end.

Thanks.... The pleasure was mine. Thanks for sharing your cars with me as well. You've got quite a stable! Appreciate the kind words, seems like a rough crowd around here....

Re: 1991 FBI B4C Very Low Miles
Had to clean this listing up a bit.
Please post an asking price as per TGO rules. We are all interested in the history of the car and would love to see photos & details of it.

Definitely an FBI car as all B4C's delivered to the FBI had the GAM RPO. I bet this car also has the D27 rear compartment lid as all FBI cars did.
I owned a '91 and it had really cool switches and electrical gear from service.
