Hi I need 2 front fenders, a front spoiler and bumper cover for my 1989 IROC CONVERTIBLE.


What fits regarding years, models?

What special tools should I bring to Pick-N Pull, if I go used.

Do any new items fit CORRECTLY?

I heard Vert fenders are "slightly' DIFFERENT FROM coupes? Elaborate please.

RE are the front fenders, on coupes the same as verts? (I think the "NO" comment I read somewhere must have meant 1/4 panels).

As far as I know and from what I have read it is the same as what went on the coupes. Do not buy aftermarket, your best bet will be used stuff


In response to your question about tools, just a ratchet and a set of sockets, most are 10mm

 

All Camaro fenders, bumper cover, are the same '88-'92. The later ones have slots in the bottoms instead of holes for the skirts but they still work for those years with no mods. Z-28 are also the same but from '85 to '92 because they got the skirt update before the regular Camaros did.

Obviously the front spoiler is different in '91 and '92

The front fenders are the same but ASC and poss. GM used the same mods
on the bottom of the fenders. ASC cut off the bottom of the fender and added
a special cut piece to clear a brace and attach to the body and mount the skirt.

You will need your old fenders and remove these pieces to mod and mount to your new/used
fenders.
These pieces were usually pop riveted in place.................
