Axle/Gears: 3.73
front end bumper swap

hey guys/gals just wondering if i can swap out front bumper on my 82 z28 for a 89 z28 bumper

All the Camaro front bumpers will bolt right up to any year Camaro. Only the front ground effects are slightly different. So as long as you use the GFX that match the front bumper, you'll be fine.

The crush pad on the impact bar varies between models. Get the one for your new front clip.

Maybe only on the Firebirds/Trans Ams? I've had both an 82-84 Z28 and an 87 Z28 bumper on mine using the same crash bar and pad with no fitment issues. The only difference I've noticed is in how the different styles of chin spoilers mount to the bumper and fenders.

Probably the same between Z28's. '84 Z28 pad and '87 LT pad are definitely different, know from experience

That is possible too. I don't know what my crash bar is from, I just know it's not the original one to the car.
