Had my car in a show yesterday and I took some pictures of it. If you look in the background of the following picture, you can see my friend's 91 Cadillac hearse.
I did not wax it, all I did was give it a quick wipe done. I did not plan on going to the show. My friend called me in the morning and ask me to bring it to the show, so I did not have time to really clean it up.
This picture was taken at the Crusin' Morro Bay Car Show on May 7, 2016. I'd like to thank Dodge and John McGann. John is the editor of Car Craft Magazine and Dodge loaned him that Hellcat for Anti-Tour. We were parked next to each other all day. People came for the Hellcat, but they stayed for the Trans Am! I saw a lot of Thirdgen love at that show.

Sorry the pics are fuzzy, they are pictures of actual pictures. I thought everyone already knew about the swap. Or is it a rare 86 350 car??? Lol nah...I made my own. I like the look of the 85-86 interiors and I wanted a 350, the original 305 was shot and the car sat for 15 years with low miles on the body! Good solid car to make it into something that never was in 86, also, this happened too:

I've been going to car shows for decades. Some nice car in thei thread!
Couple things I'd like to see change. One of which is all the open hoods. Ruins the lines of the car. Perhaps the organizers could make a "last 15 minutes of every hour open hood rule".
Also, most shows are 1974, 73 or older. It's time to move forward. Lots of nice cars in the late, 70's, 80's, etc. This would also help get younger participants into the culture. (And I'm not talking about "Rice Rockets" they have their own shows).
The Breakfast Club meet at the Petersen Automotive Museum. A 1973 911 RS clone next to my 1991 Camaro B4C. Many pictures, tough to pick a favorite. Neat experience, was thinking of doing thread in History section about how a thirdgen fit in...
Good deal! Kind of the same with me and Michigan Widetrackers. I've been to 3 or 4 monthly meetings, and helped out several nights building a Christmas parade float. But thus far that's about it. I hope to do more with them going forward.
This is at the Car Craft Summer Nationals in Milwaukee last weekend. I saw a pic of a first gen just like this one in the back of a Hot Rod magazine in the 80's when I was a boy. It is still burned into my brain, I can't get enough.
This is also at the Car Craft Summer Nationals. I was immediately drawn to the color combo, and pleasantly surprised to see an lsx with 180° cold air ducting to breath through the hood. Same concept that I am running. Just way cool. I think my camaro looks like a newer version of this firebird with the quad headlights, turn signal placement, two big holes/grills, and of course the spoiler. This was a huge event, totally awesome, lots of cars and a lot of nice 3rd gens. There were a good number of 3rd gens participating in the autocross as well.
