Personally, I think the RA1 hood looks really sharp on thirdgen Firebirds. A lot better than the more popular RAII hoods. The lines of the RA1 hood flow good with the Firebirds whereas the cowl looks better on the Camaros to me.
There are two styles of these hoods, one has the nostrils further back and angled, the other is more forward and straight. Hard to find pics of them because they are both called the Ram Air 1 hoods.
RA1 I think is the best looking aftermarket firebird hood. Not a fan of the RA2's, and I personally don't like the look of a cowl hood on firebirds, and 3 inches is also a bit too big for my taste. Your car, your choice though

Mine is ASCD. The cowl is Harwood.
Ram air:
Cowl:
I've got to spend at least a day on either of them. The Ram air has a few chips. The cowl needs the metal tab-nut riveted back on.
Too bad the IMSA double power bulge hood isn't still around.
I've never actually seen one in person. They looked cool in the photos though.
Is cutting the RA-I hood a nightmare to try and get airflow? One of the reasons I bought the cowl was so I could draw air for the blower since I can't route it to the fender. I didn't realize the ram air hood was blocked off front and rear until I had it.
