Rims

Found these 15x7 rims for sale what o you think should I buy them.
He wants $300.00. Right now I have 14 inch night rider rims on my 83 TA.
Just want bigger rims and tires.

Anyone know if aftermarket companies will make these soon. I know the have
the gold GTA ones.

Re: Rims

Can't imagine those will ever get reproduced. Not an item you find every day. I'd snag 'em.

You can sell your 14" Turbocast / Knight Rider ones to pay for those (or others)....

Re: Rims

They do look nice and the price is right.
Here's a link showing the wheels on a Trans AM.

I do have a preference for the Gold "Snow Flakes" but they are a little more $$$.

Re: Rims

Snowflakes look good too, I wish they made aftermarket turbo finned rims.
Thanks for the info and pics.

Re: Rims

I have those on mine and love the way they look, the only problem for me is the lack of tire sizes and choices these days

Re: Rims

The early 15" wheels had 215/65/15 tires...
Later years, they fattened them up to 235/60/15's....

Ron USMC and I both got Mickey Thompson Sportsman ST's (street tires)...
They're just over $100 each, we are both happy with them...

I got 235's up front, and 245's in the rear, he got a little bigger combo and it looks great on 15" wheels...

Re: Rims

I need to get at least 15 inch rims, hard to fine stock. Wish they made aftermarket.
Sanded and painted mine a few times. Looks good but too small.

Re: Rims

Throw them up on Ebay, put Knight Rider in the title and get $400+ for both the wheels and he caps!

Ask Ron about his 15 inch rims, not stock, but very nice looking !!!
