5.7 Tuned Port Decal Placement on rocker

The previous owner painted my car, and left off the 5.7 Tuned Port Injection decals that are placed below the IROC-Z emblems on the left and right ground effects.

From the photos I've seen it looks like the decals are centered left to right with the emblem on the rocker, but what I can't seem to find is how far below the IROC-Z emblem the decals should be placed.

Anyone know?

Any suggestions on prepping the rocker for putting the decal back on the car?

As far as putting the decal back on,make sure the surface is clean, when I did mine,I used a product called SLIDE,it keeps the surface slippery until the decal is in place then you use the squeegee to remove the SLIDE.

Yes, center the decal under the badge. From the top edge of the decal moving up, measure to the opening or cut out in the rocker panel for the Z-28 emblem, dont meausre to the emblem itself.

From the top of the decal to this lower edge below the Z-28 I measured bang on 1/4".

Hope that helps.

This was a hard thread to find so I'm bumping it to say thanks to Croz and make it easier to find for the next guy.

I realized after getting my car back from paint that the painter installed the Iroc Z rocker badges but not the TPI decals under them. They were still in an envelope in the console so now I have something to do.
