Need a plug identified

Hey guys, pulled the engine and trans out of my 86 trans am that was originally a 305tpi. I'm currently cleaning up the wiring under the hood and forgot what part of the harness plugs into this connector that comes off of the fuel pump fuse by the battery. I hate to be needy but if you could give me a brief description of where the wire runs up to this connector I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Just need to know what plugs into here and where it routes through the engine bay. And yes, I'm going to replace those nasty butt connectors with soldered connections.

That would probably be this one, shown between the battery and radiator:

Re: Need a plug identified

If that is the connector, the red wire is a fusible link connected to the positive battery cable. The near side orange wire serves the ECM/Fuel pump fuse. The two orange wires on the rear side of the connector route to the fuse panel in the interior.

Re: Need a plug identified

thanks for all the info, what I'm trying to find out is where does the plug that plugs into that connector come from. I unplugged it when removing my engine and now can't find where it is. does it come from the driver side harness or the passenger TPI harness?

Re: Need a plug identified

Mine goes directly to the bulkhead. The oxygen sensor wire also breaks out of the loom near the master cylinder, but that's all that is in the tube.
