It's called whatever you want to call it. I could dig out the books and find the part number (again, I've posted it before) but it wouldn't do much good since it's long since discontinued. Try ebay or a junkyard. Or get a 5/16" steel rod, heat the ends red hot with a torch, and smash/press/hammer them flat, drill holes, paint black.

Its like this fancy brace they put on the cars. What it does, I do not know doubt it Does anything. But an expansive piece of metal it is.

There is a rusted one for sale for $25. When I bought mine like 4 years ago I paid $35 IIRC.

There is a thread about all the little braces in the engine bay area. Multiple bars and brackets that some cars came with and some didn't. I don't see the point in that brace, the metal it connects is too thin. May be there for anti-vibration.
