Procharger TPI Spacer length
Does anybody know the factory length of the four spacers that go between the head unit and the bracket for the blower? Been trying to get my whole setup working right for a few years now and has been nothing but problems between throwing belts and the tensioner set up.

Those throw belts like crazy. Mine did with the 6 rib.the tensioner system suckes and should really be spring loaded. It seemed the crank assembly was out fo round and was not running tru on mine. Check there first. The bracket flexes on these as well. May want to add a brace on the back somehow. Sorry couldnt help more I had my kit in 96. One of the first kits around.

The spacers are .750 long. The factory tensioner is complete junk. A spring loaded setup helps tremendously. The other issue is the tpi bracket flexes horribly. I anchored mine to my strut tower brace mounting plate. Makes 13 psi all day now on a maxed out d1sc with zero belt dust

Thanks for the replies. I have switched to a dayco tensioner but am still having problems throwing the belt under a load. All pulleys seem to have great alignment too. I have seen that Larry at assc made brackets in the past for our cars but he doesn't seem to be doing them anymore.

Do you have any pictures of your set up?
