Cen-Cal Third Genz will be hosting their Annual Third Gen Central California Meet @ Woodward Park in Fresno, CA on Saturday September 2nd, 2017. Bring ur cars out in what ever the current shape is we want to see it!!! Looking to top 2015 our meet when we had about 30 cars! We will be giving out TROPHIES for various categories to be determined ASAP.

Bring something to drink and BBQ so we can grill and chill and talk about cars. After the meet we will cruise down Blackstone (popular cruising street in Fresno, CA) then who ever wants to hit some country roads and run em we can do that as well. Went to drive the car to dinner tonight and the fuel pump wouldn't prime. Further investigation showed some seriously messed up wiring on the 5-pin fuel pump relay plug.

After searching high and low with the wife online, we found a replacement at PepBoys in Oceanside, supposedly. We'll see if they get it by noon like they say, or if I have to try to repair the original.

On the cusp of naming my car Two steps forward one step back.

 

New connector is on and car is running again. See everyone in the AM.

 

So how did it all go at the event?

 

About 25 cars... Some had left before others got there... Tons of food!!! Gave away 9 trophies 3 of which went home with SoCal cars... Raffled off some black out headlight covers, a "do sum donuts" t shirt (donated by a NorCal member), and $14 bucks gas money for the ride home (50/50 raffle for $1 tickets). Was pretty hot out @ 108* but we had an awesome turnout considering imo... I had a great time and I think everyone else was pleased with the turnout to as well, which was a relief...

 

 

 

Some pics for those of you that missed it. I did not take these pics just saved them as I seen them come up in my social media feed. I did not take any pics myself I felt I wanted to just take it all in, try to be a good host, focus on making memories, I was also too lazy to break out the camera it was hot! LOL! I have more pics about 52 so far to be exact but I think you get the point with these. If anyone wants me to post the rest of them I will... Also I think there were about 3 or so people taking pics with professional cameras I have yet to see. They might be waiting to edit or upload them to their computers... Anyways enjoy...
