My son's car. His first car. Super Chevy Show 2017. It's a father son project.
Can you give me anymore info on the show? Or any other bigger late(er) model car shows in the Phoenix area. Because of all the snowbirds/retirees in my area most of the car shows cutoff year is 1972(!). I have family and some friends and I would like to enter my Camaro in a bigger show down there.

Curious where this show was? Do you ever make any appearances more Athens' way?
It was at Sharon Johnston Park, New Market. The Fire Department puts it on every year.
I keep missing Athens and Providence in Madison. Some day I'll make it out.
At yesterday's "We Got Your Six" Car Show benefiting The South Texas Patriot Guard Riders, a veteran group in Corpus Christi, Texas. The IROC picked up a 1st place award in the Classic Camaro Category. The awards were custom cut metal created by Fenton Speedshop in Corpus Christi. Great event!

Is that you TTA and Firehawk Bob88GTA? Those are two of my favorite cars..
A buddy of mine had a TTA with 9000 miles and he never drove it.. had the Pace Car stickers in a box that came with the car.. this was back in 1996.. always begged him to take it out but he was saving it as a collector car.. went out in it once and it was a blast!
The firehawk is by far my favorite 4th gen.. made everything including the Vette look silly..

Yes, they're both mine. The Wife claimed the Firehawk. It has 54k miles, 6spd. The TTA has 29900 on it. Its a fun car for sure. I burn up the road every week and sometimes I drive it to work. Gotta drive them. I have the Owners box with the decals and such also.
Sweet! I always thought he should drive it a little.. he always said it’ll never hit 10,000 miles.. it was sad.. he always said it was the ultimate 3rd gen and will be worth money.. I can agree
I wasn’t sure since I saw decals on the car if they gave you the decals in the box too.. he got the car from the original owner who didn’t want the decals on when he ordered it.. I was pretty sure you had all the docs on that car..
I wish they did a special edition IROC with that motor but again, another thing Pontiac did that was cooler than Chevy..
Some/Most of the TTA's already had the decals put on at the dealer. They had a stash of em. Pontiac sent out the owners box separately to the new owner with the congrats letter and all the decals, cassette, key fob, etc. So in reality, you could have the decals on the car AND have them in the the box.
At car show in Bastrop Texas east of Austin, a big event with over 400 cars participating. Picked up one of two class awards in the '67-'02 Camaro/Firebird category scoring above 70 points out of a possible 75 points. Finished behind a 1967 Camaro.

If you have an example of one of the judging sheets, or if the website for that show has one posted I would enjoy seeing it. Those are great tools when finishing a build or getting a car ready for a show!

After reading your post I requested the judging sheet and and just received it. According to the person who sent the sheet to me, my actual score was a 71 out of 75 and the first place car scored a 73 out of 75. It's funny that they gave me all 5 points for brightwork. Guess you can't penalize a car for not having any. The biggest deduction appears to be due to the 30 year old clear coat on my wheels which is starting to deteriorate and to three decades of minor scrapes and chips in the paint. Here is the sheet.
Which I guess for cars without chrome/aluminum/stainless trim would be "other trim and moldings"? So for us, black trim around the headlamps, body side molding, black trim around hatch glass, perhaps decals?
