My buddy John with his 92 B4C and my Heritage Z28 at todays Pflugerville Coffee and Pfuel car show.
Crazy...I owned an Arctic White RS with 16s that looked very much like this one visually, and test drove and almost bought a red Z28 like the other one.
Man, seeing this thread makes me want to get my car going even more (been fighting a clutch issue)!! I at least have had some cars in local care show (and there were two 3rd gens in this show, I just didn't get the pictures). I know these aren't 3rd gens (though the wheels on the El Camino are the ones off my '86), but figured people would appreciate these. The Vett is my dads and my son and I (he paid I'm mostly just labor) have gotten the others going recently.
City of Springs car show in Sulphur, OK from 13 Sept. Great show with around 220 entries. Won 2nd in the 80s class behind a sweet 82 corvette. Two other thirdgens in attendance, an 83 Z28 that had a swapped 305 TPI in it and an early 82-83 Firebird that seemed to be a strip car with a heavily modded engine and interior.

They have been up and down. Someone wanted to see what it looked like under the hood because they had never seen a Turbo TA before. I forgot to close it back before I took the pictures.
I was in a hurry because I wanted to walk home and get some cold drinks for us. It's starting to get hot. I live a block off the town square where the car show is at today.

If you have seen one white GTA then you have seen them all. What makes this one unique is the engine under the hood.
@mikeceli Below are some pictures with the hood down.
Oh, the humanity... People got to sit in it and take pictures, and I started the engine up and let it run for them too. Little kids sat in their Daddy's lap and held onto the steering wheel and made Vroom Vroom Vroom sounds while Mommy took videos and pictures.
The value in these cars is the memories made in them and not the money that they are worth. Some people at the car show today went home with a memory of a white Turbo TA that was probably much more fun than the other cars they just got to stare at.

Good news. The 1976 Trans Am won a Top 40 award at the car show today. Out of a field of about 250 cars.
It was driven to the show by Christian. The son of the previous owner who passed away from Covid-19. He was asked if he would like to take his father's Trans Am to the show today. It meant the World to him to be able to take his father's car to the show. Now he has a great memory and an award to go with it.
My friend and I left the show before the awards were being handed out. We were hot and his son's birthday is today. Christian was told to keep the car and bring it back sometime tomorrow. He and his girlfriend can enjoy a night out in his father's Trans Am. He is a good kid. He will be very careful with the car.
