Hi Guys. Tried to post earlier but it would not submit for some reason. I am looking at purchasing this 1991 Firebird 3.1 v6. I want to strip it down and totally respray it in black (knight rider conversion) including engine, door sills etc. Due to funds i want to do the bodywork first then the interior at a later stage.
How difficult will it be to remove this bodykit to take the car back to stock (or will it be even possible?) will i have a lot of filling, welding etc? also the T top needs repair is this a big job? (some rusting) Thanks for your help Guys

Reason: additional content
That's all factory, it's the stock aero kit( body kit) for 91-92 It all comes off but you will have a few holes.to weld up.
That car looks really clean, if you want to strip a car down and do a knight rider, at least start with the correct rrect year. Please don't basterdize this clean example of a 91-92.

I know your not in the states and these cars are not really.easy to find, but there are so many terrible knight rider cars people have done over the years and quite frankly I don't understand the allure.
That car stands out on it's own as a short production year car anyway.
It needs some work doing to it anyway and the interior is tatty so i will have to do some work on that. that's why i thought while i was at it i would give it a fresh coat of paint and go for black. (love them in black but the import duty from the states just makes it impossible to import one on my budget). I've no problem keeping the original body kit attached the car will need painting anyway so i was going to go for black while i was doing the work and look at doing a conversion later down the line. This is the T-Top
