I've got an Orange and a Black wire coming from the power seats. Which one is hot and which is ground?
Do I just connect the ground to the seat post or where? I'm really not good with wiring in general. I bought a add a fuse connection and got that down, but the rest I am unsure.

 

Orange is power 12v constant. Black is ground. Ring terminal to the seat brace on the floor.

Not the best pics, but the gray dot by the doorsill is the typical existing ground.

 

Thanks Drew. I'm going to be hooking it up tomorrow. I'm driving the car to Phoenix and back starting next week. It would be a long trip if I couldn't get the seat right.
