Rear defrost strut connection

The defrost connection on my passenger side strut fell off. Anyone know how to reattach it? Thanks

Re: Rear defrost strut connection

Yeah, you don't want to connect a high current capable wire that has all it's insulation deteriorated. You need to replace that ground strap if you intend to use the rear defrost.
Probably could solder or braze the tab back on the strut, maybe tack weld... But it'd be easier to replace the strut

Yup, new strut

Probably needs new ones anyway, just to hold the hatch up properly
