Orange wire on power distribution block

Can anyone tell me where this orange wire on the power distribution block goes? It’s the third one from the top. The car is an 87 Camaro iroc z. Thanks in advance!

Re: Orange wire on power distribution block

The book says rear compartment light. But then it also says that any of the wires can be in any position on that side of the block.

Oh crud, ok. It’s the biggest on the block. Can’t tell if I cut it while changing the floor pans or the P.O.

Re: Orange wire on power distribution block

I'd suspect, something very high power... rear window defogger for example.

Ok thanks, it’s a vert so I’m not sure what it would be to. Where does the power come from on the block?

Re: Orange wire on power distribution block

Power feeding the junction block will come from the back of the fusebox. Should be easy enough to trace that wire while the kick panel and hush panel are removed.

Can’t tell if I cut it while changing the floor pans or the P.O
Might be the Power Seat power wire your looking at,..... it's a large gauge Orange wire that leads from the junction block, behind the kick panel, thru the driver rocker loom and then under the seat.
