I don't know why, but the guy appears to be a habitual liar. Doesn't have to be that way, he just chooses to be that way.

I ordered a part because it was said to be in stock. I questioned him before paying, (A) Is it in stock? He said yes. (B) I asked him again, "You can actually put your hand on one in your own warehouse? Because I know this item is normally a 3 week lead time and you're the only person I can find that shows one in stock." He said yes. (C) I asked him if it will ship today (Friday). He said it will ship Monday.

I got pretty damn specific about it, don't you think? Well... Two weeks later there is no part and no shipping info. I call and ask if the part has shipped. He's 99% sure it did and he'll get the UPS tracking info. Man, I wasn't born yesterday!

At this point I know he's lying but I didn't confront him. What's done is done and I don't want to start over the 3 week clock with somebody else. He creates a UPS ticket to give the appearance something is happening. Sure enough about 3 to 4 weeks the part ships and I get it.

In the end I got the right parts, at a decent price, and everybody else would have shipped in the same timeline of 3 to 4 weeks. I'm not even mad. I just don't care for his goofball ways.

I will give a compliment though: He was able to answer technical questions immediately by texting the supplier. That's unusual for somebody to have that kind of connection! That did make things go smoother for me, I think.

Re: TPS MotorSports

I know this is an older thread but want to share my experiences with TPS MotorSports.Nope! Unfortunately, I didn’t do my homework on reviews regarding ordered parts–others have had similar experiences to mine. This type of business practice is disgusting and violates consumer protections. Let the work begin!
Here is the timeline. Four emails from me and one from Mike. As you can see, my pacing and patience was reasonable.

4/28/26 - Purchased item, cc charged $1200, invoice downloaded

5/5/26 - Sent inquiry email regarding tracking info

5/6/26 - Mike responded saying he’d look into it and that there was a PRICE INCREASE on an item I had already purchased thru his website

5/8/26 - Sent a follow-up email asking for an update

5/11/26 - Sent an email asking for my item to be sent and tracking info or I would be reviewing his company on every platform I can find.

5/12/26 - Still no word from Mike

On April 28, 2026 I ordered XB Headlights for my Tundra which were listed "on sale". My card was charged, I downloaded my invoice and waited for tracking information. Nada! On May 5th I reached out via email asking for an update. On May 6th Mike emailed me back with, “We are checking on status for you as there also has been a price increase unfortunately.” PRICE INCREASE??? WTH? I wait for his update. Nada! On May 8th I circled back for my inquiry. No response! On May 11th I sent my final email demanding shipment. Silence!

This sucks. I hope you are made right on this. I would forget your shippment get your money back and buy elsewhere. Morimoto directly, Retrofit Source, Headlight Revolution, Prolightz. There are a number of them. Whenever holidays happen they will have sales on. At the very latest 4th of July sale. On a side note a bit, you will absolutely love the headlights in your truck, world of difference in output, and they look amazing.
