Brakes for daily driving & track use

Hello, I have 17 inch Torq Thrust II wheels and I want to upgrade the brakes on Camaro. Are the LS1 (C5) brakes with some good pads good enough for track use?

I read on some other thread from like 20 years ago that TT II wheels will not fit the LS1 setup but has anyone tried it anyway and somehow made it work?

What about CTS-V1 brakes? Are they good enough? will they fit my wheels?

I don't really like the after market options I prefer going with OEM. What do you guys recommend?

Also can I keep my stock 3rd gen brake master cylinder with the booster?

Thank you!

I don't know fitment with your wheels, but C5 Corvette brakes are great for hobby car. Most people won't overdrive those brakes but if you do then you can upgrade later.

define track use first.
is your car all stock?
what speeds are you thinking you will be hitting in the straights?

from what i have seen over the years is many upgrade parts because the guy standing next to them did.
not many people actually ever need the upgrades made, its just the cool factor.
