Anyone else do the "look back" when exiting the garage...?

Every time I go into the house I look back at it even if I wasn't driving it. Am I crazy and the only one who does this?

You are not alone. My garage is a huge mess but it is always nice to take one look back at the gems that are inside next to the clutter and mess of everthing else.

Every time! I've owned my car for over a year now and I will look back it every time. I'll even go out there just to look at it sometimes.

Re: Anyone else do the "look back" when exiting the garage...?

My DD is parked nose-in in a corner of the garage, so all I get is a partial view of anything I park there. I do like looking down the row of our cars parked in the 'garage-mahal' when I go in there, but really, the only two cars I've done the 'look back' in the office parking garage were our 95 Impala SS and '12 Caprice 9C1. Our TII looked good, too, but I don't remember looking back at it that much. I'm broken, though, and I understand that.

Re: Anyone else do the "look back" when exiting the garage...?

I had it at work today and had a meeting. I parked it where I knew that I would see it from the meeting room. Idk what the meeting was about but the car looked damn good!

Hell, after i put my kids to bed, I go say nighty-night to the trans am!

Although I must admit I love looking at the car and admiring the gleam of the reflection.
I'm even more thankful after 50 years of marriage to finally having a garage to work / putter around in and store the car.

Yet I should kill thee with much cherishing.
Good night, good night!
Parting is such sweet sorrow.

I was a teenager once madly in love with a buxom blonde beauty. I would have walked barefoot across burning hot coals to bring her ice water. In other words I liked her almost as much as my blue 89 Firebird.

No kids at home now. But I look at it every day as I find a reason to go out there.

Re: Anyone else do the "look back" when exiting the garage...?

Unfortunately mine doesn't get to park in a garage, but even after nearly a decade of ownership and daily driving, I still look back and appreciate the car every single time I park I don't think I'll ever get sick of lookin' at my thirdgen, couldn't ask for a better daily. Heres my look back from today. I think the body damage might deter people with nice cars from being too aggressive. I think its gorgeous as it sits now.

Rumor has it "if you don't look back" you bought the wrong car.

Re: Anyone else do the "look back" when exiting the garage...?

Its always worth that extra look! Running or not.
My neighbor used to laugh at me because i would was my engineless car once or twice every week, I finally told him hey your car is 12 years newer than mine and yours looks like its been through hell and back. I pay for all of my stuff and I like it to look like I care. The engine I was building looked fantastic.
