You aren't doing anything wrong. This problem you are having though is related to the Tripod servers. They do not allow "image leeching." That is, if you want to display an image on a webpage, that image must be hosted onthe tripod server, and accessed FROM a locally hosted webpage on the tripod server.

If this is confusing, then don't worry. Just think of it this way. You can't post any pics here on thirdgen.org and have them show up using the [img], or [url] tags.

There are ways to see the picture, but not with the current window. The URL must be copied to a freshly loaded browser window. Then it will show up.

Sorry, just wanted to let you know about this lovely tidbit of information. If you have your own ISP provided webspace then you can host the image there.
