New Track! - Redline Raceway, Royce City, NE of Dallas

Like the title says there's a new 1/8 mile track out in Royce City.
It's at exit 83 off of I30. Can't miss it.
I was out last Friday night for the 1st time and the place is damn nice, alot better than Denton for sure.
I'll be heading down there after work tomorrow (Wed) when the track opens at 5 but they won't start racing till 6.
I invite everyone out to light up so tires and have some damn fun especially all you guys in the northeast Dallas area like myself.
It's alot shorter drive than Ennis or Denton.
I'm under the assumption no one knows about it yet, if it's old news........sue me.
I'll be in the maroon 91 Rs and hopefully returning with some 8.8 or 8.9 time slips.

I was out there 3 months ago. I was up there seeing someone (wink wink) . And they live about 2 miles from that track. It looked nice and saw some mean looking cars too. I m going to make time and go up there one weekend or something.

Yup Redline has been open for some time now.... ~6 months or so.
How did you do out there?
If you haven't heard, the Denton track is being completely re-constructed and will be NHRA sanctioned. They laid down the new track a few months ago, and now it is hooking up good from what I've hear.
I should be out there in 3-4 weeks

89Roc,
I did pretty bad............
I didn't call before I left and they were closed do to a stray shower that went through town.
I wasn't the only one going WTF though so...

I'll be up there to try again tomorrow and see what I can get going.
The only time I've been to the track was in Denton in Nov. and it was pretty cold that night.
I was only getting like 2.3-2.4 60 foot times with 315/35/17s in the rear while clocking off a fastest time of 9.01 so I'm hoping to get back the 2 tenths or so I lost on the starting line and get to a 8.8 or so. We'll see.

I hope to see some more 3rd gens this time out there.

9.01 isn't bad at all for an RS. What all do you have done to it?
Get those 60-ft times down and you'll easily hit an 8.7-8.8.
Denton is totally different now. You should come check it out sometime.
