Is there any one that would be interested in doing some racing sometime in February. Just got my new motor in and almost broken in and want to get together with some other third-genners to race at hrp/lonestar/navasota

You just need to have a car they make parts for. F-Body A-Body and whatever the Grand AM is. That sort of thing.

I would race you BTW except my a$$ would get handed to me since my 305TPI is pretty much stock.

lets do it
I am going tomorrow to Lonestar 1/8mi track in Sealy. Its close to my house and I want to see how recent mods will affect times. It opens at noon and start racing about 1:00. I would love to see you and any other thirdgens there. We can run test and tune and get in different lanes and race. I usually end up racing something like either an Expedition or maby a dragster, I would love to do some friendly racing with some of my own kind so to speak. I should be there close to one and will stay to dark or after. Bring a cooler with beer and sandwiches. I have a red formula 350 , 1991, cant miss it

2 weeks before I picked it up the first time, some jackass ran it through a barb wire fence @ a DPS estimated 120MPH.
Damage isn't too bad though, cracked windshield, torn seats, few scrathches, busted front GFX, needs a fender and a dent filled in....oh and a ******* $249 toneau cover. Too much for just a vinyl piece that sits on top of fiberglass if you ask me. I'm tempted to just paint the fiberglass instead of buy the cover.

where is everybody
Well I went to the 1/8th mi track at Lonestar raceway like I said, did'nt see any race dude. I did race a thirdgen camaro with a 383 and slicks. I redlighted trying to get a jump on him and he still killed me. Beat a late model Mustang GT and some kind of eclipse or something with nitro. I saw the bottle but I dont know if he sprayed. I had two carl lenghts on him and all of a sudden his bumper was 1 foot behind my bumper at the finish. Ran a new best of 8.787. It sure was fun but I would really like to see some guys from the Thirdgen gatherings there. Doing donuts in a parking lot is fun, but drag racing is a lot more fun (and less likely to get a ticket haha).
No one ever went TOO FAST at a Drag strip, like a girl to pretty, etc
Hope to see you guys in a few weeks after I get my new Superram base on.
