I'm looking for any mechanics around centeral D/FW (preferably near Irving) who are particularly familiar with TPI cars.

Basically, I've only ever been behind the wheel of one TPI car in my life: my car. What's more, I was only able to drive it *after* I rebuilt the engine (L98) in it--which was my first rebuild. Thus, I really don't have any reference for comparison as to how this car should generally be performing.

Without any technical info to back it up, I get the feeling that it's not running up to par.

So what I'm looking for is a mechanic who knows how these cars should perform stock (since I rebuilt it to be "mostly stock"), and who can drive my car to get a feel for how it compares to how it "should" perform...

The only shop I trust with my cars is not specifically a TPI shop, but the mechanics know their stuff. Between the 5 of them, they have probably close to 130 years experience.

 

And what shop would that be?
