I transformed my '87 IROC into looking like a 25th annivarsary Z28. I had the red custom mixed and topped it off with vintage camaro style black racing stripes. The interior was refurbished in black from a '92 except for the seats, they bolted right up from a '97. I left its original Borg Warner 327 rear-end in it and replaced the following on the motor: battery, alternator, water pump, ac has been updated, KN air filter, starter, and belts. It runs great and always starts. My IROC now sits upon 16" SS style chrome wheels. I also put new dark tint on the windows and installed a new very nice stereo system.

Yes! I remember your chassis. Are you going to nationals in Tulsa this year? I bought a slot car when I worked there and we had a track, but it's already closed and I never even got to race it.

 

Yes--be there from July 24th to Aug. 2nd--then going to Shreveport/Boosier City for a couple days to lose what money I have left at the Casinos.

Wish i could bring the IROC, but not having any safe place to park it at night kinda kills that thought!
