Wtb 91-92 Iroc/z28

Hey guys, I need a new car for college and my Beefed up LT1 didn't do it's justice in gas mileage only power I'm in need of a IROC or Z28 preferably 91-92, not to many miles and is able to be driven daily...

Totally off topic, but I love your new quote. I may have to "borrow" it. BTW, good luck looking for another third gen! I hope you find it.

Don't want to high jack your thread, but if you had been looking a month ago, you could've had my 88 IROC. That thing was a beast. It was my daily driver for almost 3 years. I am sure a few people around this board could tell you about it.

Jet,

Have you thought about my old rims? Maybe just a road trip down here.........

I'm a little broke trying to fix my car. I didn't forget about you, I've been busy playing war games.

Bear in mind--those are usually "asking" prices. I got both my IROC's off of Auto Trader and was able to get the price down from the asking price with a little negotiations.

Worth a look!?

What price range are U looking for anyway?

Does that guy really expect to get 22,000.00 for it. Would it go for that in the serious collecters circle? Wonder what it would really sell for or what it is really worth?

I can only assume that his wife wants him to sell it, so he set the asking price so HIGH that no-one would pay that much for it.

That's why when I get asked how much I would sell my car for, I say "$10,000..not a penny less". I do that cause I know every single thing about my baby...each little scratch, every bolt, every little squeek, what it can do and what makes it cry. It would take at least that much for me to give her up and take on another Camaro that I would have to learn all over again.

Another reason I bought another 91 RS....to learn some more.

Yeah, it is actually. You know which one I'm talkin' about? It's at that gas station/garage at the corner next to the car wash.
BTW, there's also a red thirdgen Z28 with some WELD racing rims, skinnys up front for sale in the old HEB parking lot in Bastrop. It looks clean....it's got t-tops. It says $4,600 on it. I can swing by and get the phone number if ya want.

Thinking of selling my 91 Z28 5.7 Auto. stock 3rd owner. The only thing done is a ASCD SS hood. It does need a paint job. Int is clean. Every thing works AC, PW, PL, PS and no T-tops.

Some small ding but nothing major.

Thinking around 3800.00 obo

I know of a 1991 1-LE Z-28 for sale in my area (VERY rare car) even more rare because 91 1-LE's were scarce and this one has a 350 / auto (1 of 120 cars or so made like that).

It has 187 original miles (NO TYPO). Yes, I said less than 200 miles! It still has the original gatorback tires, plastic still on the seats, window sticker still in the window.

He's asking $25,000 for the car.

And yes, it's a collector car that has been professionally stored / maintainanced.

But I think it's worth it. The car is still brand new! It even has the new car smell still.

I'm sure it's still a little too rich for all of our wallets though. I know I can't cough of that kind of cash!

Sorry, I would rather buy a house with 25 G's as a down payment!

I can get any 3rd gen and pop the latest and greatest performance stuff in it for much less than that stock 1LE.

It's only worth it if you keep it under wraps and wait another 10 years to sell it for more than what you paid for it.
