Darrell (406Z) showed up at Sam's last night!!!

We went to Sam's last night--poor turnout probbly due to the strange weathe we have been having lately, but to my surprise Darrell Harvey (406Z) showed up last night. Good to see him after a rough year for him. His car looks as good as ever!

For those of U who do not know him or have never seen his car, it is ONE OF THE BEST EXAMPLES OF A THIRDGEN I HAVE EVER SEEN IN PERSON.

I have said in the past that his car is what all thirdgens should strive to be. Immaculant paint job--bad *** engine (406) runs low 11's with slicks --beautiful car from front bumper to rear bumper. He said he will try to make some of the upcoming meets.

GOOD TO HAVE U BACK GUY!!!

Yes--His ALL thirdgen and is an example of what anybody can do--not what U can do if U own a body shop and chop a fourth gen in half and convert it to a thirdgen!!! Once U see it U will agree (At least I think so!)

Hopefully we can get him to show up at the Aug monthly Meet or at least at Sam's Club later!

Depends on your conception of what a thirdgen should be. Fatal88 is a beautiful car with a helluva lot of work put into it. Its more of a "because it could be done" car. It is basically an LS1 car in thirdgen body with a wild paint job. The paint job is beautiful but a little over the top, again, cool in a way, but I prefer an immaculate more traditional paint job, like darrells. Im not saying a car has to be stock to be cool, but if you start at the bumper and go to the tailpipes and put the best performance and quality parts at each step of the way, you end up with a car like Darrels. That's what Id like to do to my car, eventually

The last car show I went to with Darell was at JCI close to Humble. We left the show at the same time and he watched me spank an LS-1 Vette.

Darell's car run's pretty good!

If you're out there, glad to see you're back in the swing of things!
