Just put my eyes on my new set of Mickey Thompson ET Street RADIALS! P255/50R16's.

I am having them heat cycled, which means they have to be shipped to Dallas. Bad news is that it will be a week before they get back, and I have to leave for work on Thursday

Oh well, I'l let you know how they work when I get back, mid-October.

I ordered them through Discount Tire, 165.00 each plus 20.00 each for the heat cycling.

You can read the heat cycle story on Discount Tire's web site. Just select any of the competition tires (BFG, Nitto), and the story is available in a pop-up.

 

I wasn't expecting much in the way of replies to this post, but a few would be good.

For those of you I've met, you know I drive my car to HRP, drive it hard down the track a few times, then back home. Other than that it's trips to the monthly meets that I'm home for, or a quick T&T down Skyline Drive along the bay. So I'm not looking for long street life, but wanted to keep radials for now to match the Goodyear F1's up front.

Apparently these tires have been out since late 03? I only recently learned about them, and a search on all open boards only gave me two returns. Any of you guys run them? I promise to post before and afters when I get home in October, but no need to keep the discussion waiting if anyone has opinions......
