IT'S STRANGE--OFTEN SCARY--HOW THINGS WORK OUT SOMETIMES!!!

(Below is taken from their web site!)
"Airwaves is playing this Saturday, October 8 @ @ The Sandbar - 716 Clear Lake Rd. (Clear Lake Shores - close to Kemah) (FM 518 to FM 2094; go 2.8 miles; left at light by Okie's Liquor) - 281-334-5169 - 9:00 PM - 1:00 AM. Go to the Schedule of Airwaves Gigs at: http://web2.airmail.net/scswain/airwavesschedule.html "

This is the band (well, what's left after personal changes over the years) I used to play drums with in the 80's. They just happen to be playing across the street from where the meet is this Sat! We will probably go by there for a while after we leave the car show.

If anybody else is in the mood for some good rock and roll (one of the better cover bands in Hou.--KILLER guitar player--anybody that can play Eric Johnson songs and do a good job of it, IS KILLER in my opinion) should plan on stoppin by for a while!

I'LL EVEN BUY THE FIRST ROUND FOR ANYBODY THAT GOES!!!

WE HAD A BLAST!

Beautiful weather! Good company!

Hung out at South Shore Beer Garden for a while.

Went to the BIG Sat night car show @ 2094 + 146 (80/100 bad *** cars)

Couple of us went to a club right across the street from SSBG and hung out there for a while and watched/listened to a band called Airwaves. It's the band I used to play drums with in the 80's.

ZAP Racing
Sue--Mrs. ZAP
ZAP89 (Richard) and his wife (Cleeta)
ESC (Eric)
Wickedthirdgens (Justin)
Aldixie (Al) and his wife (Jean)

I took some pics, but they did not come out very good--too dark--I'll see if I can docter them up and post them.

Aldixie finally found some hood struts. We noticed that the hood struts on Justin's car, were worn out, and since Aldixie needed a set of worn out struts to go with the new lighter fiberglass hood, they swapped them there in the parking lot at the Car show.

SINCE THE "FALL BRAWL" IS NOV. 25TH + 26TH, I DOUBT IF WE WILL HAVE A MONTHLY MEET IN NOV, however ESC had the idea of a having a "modding party" on the normal second Sat that we have the monthly meet. It would be a good opportunity to get your cars in shape if U are gonna make some passes at the strip!

I'll let ERIC jump in here and figure out when/where/ ETC.
