Originally we were not going to do a Dec monthly cause it was so close time wise to the Fall Brawl, however a number of Hou Thirdgenners want to get together, and since the next area that was scheduled to do it was the NorthEast/ North area--S0 here U go!!!

Saturday --- 12/10/05 --- 5/5:30 pm --- Sonic Drive-in @ 1960 + Aldine/Westfield ...1 block east on the north side of the road.

We have never had a monthly at a "drive-in", and since so much of the modern day car stuff all started at drive-ins in the 50's, it only seems fitting to have one there. There used to be a regular Sat night show there, but that kinda died off some time ago. However, they do continue to have spur of the moment gatherings there on Sat nights, so who knows what will happen.

Usually we go for a cruise after the meet to a car show or to the drag strip, but since all the strips are closed on Sat nights at the moment, and all of the Sat night car shows are either down for the winter of in the process of being relocated/reorganized, we do not really know of anywhere to cruise to. So, let's plan on just hanging out there for a while, and see what happens!

if you get off of I45 at 1960 and take a right going east on 1960 go past the Hardy toll road and past aldine westfield, not sure if its on the right or left

 

If U are going out north on 45, U turn right/east @ 1960 and go a couple miles past the Hardy toll road--on the left.

The Woodlands show is down without a location and the Niftee Fiftee's show is down until March.

Sat--5/5:30--no rain outs/raindates for monthlys--besides that Sonic has covered parking (kinda), so I'll be there one way or the other.
