I bought it off of Estone, The engine needs a lot of hook up work and instead I'm going to put back in an emissions legal motor. I was going to use parts off of it to use on my vert as I have parted a couple in the past but its just in too clean condition to part. There are no power brakes as the intake does not have a vacuum take off and I have tried for a couple of days to get it idling but with no luck. If I sell the motor then I can put another back in it and get it painted.

I am glad you bought that car Al, because everyday I saw it on here I wanted it more and I have no where to put a new car. You can hook up your power brakes to the big vacuum port on the carb instead of the manifold. Thats how I run mine. If I would have bought the car i would have just ripped on of the entire top end and put in a more streatable cam with better heads and an RPM air gap intake. Since your selling the motor do you have the specs on it?

I did look on the carb to see if there was any other take off but there's not. But glad you reminded me about the manifold, I have an edelbrock performer sitting in the back of the garage that I completely forgot about. I may try fitting that. Still don't have any specs on the engine, if I pull it I'll take the pan off to have a look. I'm not in any hurry and if I get it running well I'll probabley keep the engine in the car. I do have a spare serpentine belt system with another PS pump and also all of the AC which I can put on it as well.

I'm going to put in new window lifts in the car this weekend as both of them are broken also have some 4th Gen front seats that I can put in it. So I'll be working on it.

Nice! Sounds like your doing right man. You should bring that car to the meet.
