Does anyone know of a decent 5 speed car around the Tulsa area.

 

A friend of mine in the houston area has a 305 tbi 5-speed RS for sale. Cold AC, dark grey / lite grey, Z28 wheels, t-tops, new weatherstripping, run/drives great, looks decent too.

 

I would be very interested!! You got any pics? How much is he asking for it?

 

137,000 miles, cold AC, ~20 MPG city, runs great. He's asking $4,300.00

Why the hell do people want so much for theese cars? Damn, you can get a 6 speed LT1 car for the prices asked theese days. My car must be worth 10 Gs.

 

Well, in his defense, he paid more than that for it and has put a chunk of money into it making it nicer (like the new weatherstripping and brand new GM glass T-top's etc...).

It's also hard to find these cars in good condition especially ones with cold A/C.

The few and far between you do find that are in good condition usually command more than what he's asking....

Beside's, not too many members here on this website prefer a 4thgen of any variety over a 3rdgen, especially an LT-1 4thgen!

 

I like my 4th gen, but never as much as my thirds. I just see theese cars going for WAY too much in my book, its nemisis is the same, the fox mustang, JUNK sells for too much, i cannot believe people still pay so much for those.
